OKTAL-SE and Third party technology
OKTAL-SE is looking for third party software solution to strenghten the scientific reliability of the SE-WOrkbench software and to extend its domain of application. Key technologies have been selected to be distributed by OKTAL-SE, for the benefit of the third party software promotion and to complement the functions of the SE-Workbench software.

• MATISSE 2.0 (ONERA, France): the unique European Atmospheric modeling tool
  MATISSE is a background scene generator developed for the computation of natural background spectral radiance images and useful atmospheric radiatives quantities (radiance and transmission along a line of sight, local illumination, solar irradiance …). The spectral bandwidth ranges from 0.4 to 14 µm. Natural backgrounds include atmosphere (taking into account spatial variability), low and high altitude clouds, sea and land.
  The MATISSE code is distributed in two modes:
  • through the SE-ATMOSPHERE software to generate atmospheric files fot the SE-Workbench-EO suite of software.
  • standalone version of MATISSE for independant studies on atmospheric conditions modeling.

• PITCH (Pitch AB, Sweden): the unique European RTI for HLA
  OKTAL-SE takes benefit of its expertise in synthetic environment modeling and distributed simulation to make the distribution of the Pitch RTI related software solution in France. Pitch offers cost-effective, state-of-the art interoperability products based on open international standards HLA.
