• October 2008:Official release of the 2008 software version
  OKTAL-SE is very happy to present its 2008-2009 release of the SEWorkbench-EO and SE-Workbench-RF suite of software. This year, major improvements are implemented in the software suite to improve the physical computation and the reliability and ease the software usage.

• March 2008:Infrared signature computation of aircrafts
  OKTAL-SE and DLR won a public tender from the French MoD (DGA) aiming at the simulation and modeling of the infrared signature of aircrafts including plumes of jet engines. OKTAL-SE with its subcontractor DLR in Germany and in coordination with ONERA in France, has the mission to build a coherent simulation suite of simulation software that enables the generation of the infrared signature of different type of aircrafts: body + plume + environment.
