During the year 2006, the following news and press-releases where published.

• October 2006: First User Group Meeting
  Following the request from most of our customers and in order to improve our development and customer support efficiency, OKTAL-SE organized in Toulouse the first User Group Meeting of the SE-Workbench simulation software.
  For the first time in the history of OKTAL-SE, almost 15 experts from 3 countries, representing the French MoD, the German MoD, FOI, ONERA, FGAN, MBDA and SAGEM met each other. The quality of the audience and the friendly relationship created among the users are very motivating for the future.

• July 2006: User Group announcement
  The User Group of the SE-Workbench technology was officially announced in July 2006. For the first time, the users of the SE-Workbench technology will have the possibility to share experience and build the future around the same table.
  The User Group will have its first meeting in Toulouse, October 16-17, 2006.

• June 2006: OKTAL-SE at ITBM&S
  This workshop serves as a technical forum which brings together members of government, university, and industrial research communities to dicuss the current development in IR modeling simulation of targets, backgrounds, and targets in backgrounds, including validation and optimization.
  The workshop will be organized by the FGAN-FOM in close cooperation with TAI and OKTAL-SE, having the highest expertise in the fields of IR modeling and simulation.
